Lotus Sametime Unified Telephony is Generally available today (23.06.2009)

BM Lotus Sametime Unified Telephony software has shipped today, June 23. This is a month earlier than the target date we announced at VoiceCon in April!

Why is this important? 60% of executives say they will have implemented Unified Communications (UC) by 2010, 57% video by 2010; and the global UC market is expected to grow 12%/yr until 2013. So chances are your local audiences are looking to integrate telephony functions into their Sametime environment or to integrate their heterogeneous telephony systems so they can deliver the same set of UC services to all users, regardless of which phone environment they use.
